News from the ILCA 4’s in Volos Greece. 450 entries wow!!

Hello from the 13 x AUS ILCA4 sailors in Sunny - hot - Volos!

The kids now have all arrived and done 3-4 training sessions out on the waters with Coach Rohan Langford . Already Mixing it up with USA and Hungry.

Conditions are hot!!! And light winds.. they get excited when it gets to 8kts- so very light for our southern ocean going crew!

The kids have all passed through measurement yesterday. A bit of a process- but Aussie parents Mark and Fluer donned the volunteer tops to help Out- so relatively smooth with some friendly Aussies on the measurement desk.

After last nights team dinner the kids are having a day off. The regattas first race is scheduled for Tuesday 25th - 11am..

The welcome parade is tomorrow( Monday 24th) so hopefully Some Colourful 🥊 🦘 photos will follow.

With The entrant numbers expanded to 450 competitors- it’s going to be a big event!
